(PETERSEN MEDIA- Merced, CA)- While the weather begins to cool down and transition into fall, things are still heating up at Merced Speedway as a myriad of marquee events are ahead to cap off the 2022 season.
Up first at the track is Championship Night this coming Saturday. A full night of racing is set with Champions being crowned at the end of the night. Divisions that will be at Merced Speedway on Saturday night are the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and the IMCA Northern Sport Mods.
Following our Championship showdown this coming Saturday, October 24th will see the lights shine bright on the Tractor Pulls. Always a fan favorite event, there will be an array of vehicles on hand showing off their grit, and getting loud around the speedway.
October 1st Merced Speedway will play host to the richest Destruction Derby in California with a whopping $12,000 up for grabs to the winner with the Top-Five being paid out. The winning purse is the most in state history. This will surely be a can’t miss event with 60 cars pre-entered at the time of press.
Once all the riches are paid up and the carnage is clear, October 7th and 8th the fan favorite Malicious Monster Trucks return to Merced Speedway for two great nights of family fun featuring the Monster Trucks, Tuff Trucks, and Megasaurus.
